The art of opera is a collaborative process on a grand scale, involving a wide range of extraordinary talents and partnerships. Opera requires creative teamwork onstage, behind the scenes, and between the Company and the community it serves. Your gift in support of Intimate Opera is worthy of an ovation! In fact, it is the support of individual friends like you that makes grand opera performances possible.

Your contribution allows us:

• To educate the community about music and theatre by producing public performances of staged musical works and concerts.
• To enrich the community by giving outreach performances in schools, community centers, retirement homes and other venues.
• To produce new works and new translations of existing works.
• To bring new audiences to opera by giving dynamic and accessible productions.
• To commission and produce new operatic and chamber vocal works.
• To partner with other arts organizations to produce works on a larger scale.

Your support makes a big difference!

Ticket sales only cover 25% of the expenses incurred to create innovative opera productions -- wonderful singers, talented directors and designers, costumes, sets, and so many more components make up each opera's budget. If our minimum ticket price were $60, many people would be unable to afford to attend. As a result throughout history, performances have been made possible through generous gifts from individuals -- loyal patrons like you! Contributions of all sizes from individuals and companies are welcomed and needed.
